My work as a psychotherapist draws inspiration from my passion for healing and innate curiosity for the human experience. Since the age of 16, my utmost goal in life has been to become a psychotherapist, and all educational experience following that high school epiphany have been in pursuit of shaping and developing my therapeutic orientation. The approaches that have stood the test of time thus far are a belief in treating the whole person, moving clients towards a greater sense of integration and self-trust, and leaning into curiosity and compassion.
I received my bachelor of arts from the University of Puget sound in Sociology and Anthropology, and followed it up with a master of arts from Bastyr University in counseling psychology. My interest and personal experience with holistic approaches to healing led me to select Bastyr for my graduate degree.
I consider myself a lifelong student of my craft. I continue to seek out trainings and opportunities to further develop my practice. Some relevant trainings and experiences include:
Internal Family Systems Level 1
Intimacy from the Inside Out (IFIO) - Pending July 2025. This is IFS for relationship work
Hakomi Personhood Series - Nourishing Communication and Loving Presence
Gottman Level 1
Working in trauma-informed in-patient care with highly traumatized youth
Facilitating social skills groups with neurodiverse children
Outside of work, I enjoy reading, cooking, and hanging with my partner and adorable cat, Maeve. I’m big on self-care on my days off, and love a good beach day at Golden Gardens, yoga, and spending time walking in nature. I’m a PNW native who enjoys a lot of the classics- good coffee, fresh local food, and taking in the beauty of my home state.
You can expect me to bring my authenticity (and humor) to our therapeutic relationship, as well as my humility that you are the expert on you. I will be there to walk alongside you, and draw attention to what seems to need it. I welcome the opportunity to begin a therapeutic journey with you.
